Spring Summit 2026:

Revalue, Rethink, Reimagine

A Summit on the Future of PSW/HCA Education

On May 6, 2026, CACCE hosted its virtual Spring Summit, bringing PSW/HCA educators from across Canada together for a lively four‑hour session of learning, reflection, and connection.
Our four guest speakers shared insights on new educator readiness, clinical challenges and solutions, living classroom models, and the current PSW/HCA landscape in Canada. Each session offered timely, practical perspectives that spoke directly to the realities of teaching in today’s evolving education environment.
We extend our sincere thanks to Life and Death Matters, our generous event sponsor, for providing every attendee with a Tim Hortons gift card and contributing a $500 donation to support future CACCE initiatives. CACCE also raffled four $50 VISA gift cards as a thank‑you to participants for their engagement throughout the day.

The 2026 Spring Summit showcased the strength, creativity, and dedication of PSW/HCA educators nationwide—and reaffirmed our shared commitment to shaping the future of continuing care education.
